Supply Chain Specialist (m/f/x)

Location: Aachen/ Düsseldorf, Germany

Your tasks

• National and international shipment of our products in compliance with regulatory requirements (customs, export, ADR/DG/DGR)
• Preparation of documents for export and customs declarations
• Logistical handling of the returns process
• Contact person (m/f/x) for our logistics service providers and our production ,supply chain and business operations team
• First point of contact (m/f/x) around the daily shipping of critical goods shipments including reporting and maintenance, of track & trace information, as well as all logistical issues
• Responsibility over posting of goods receipts and related internal interdepartmental communication
• Designing and organizing supply chain reporting (inventories; KPI’s)

Your profile

• You have successfully completed your commercial training, ideally as a clerk (m/f/x) for freight forwarding and logistics services or a comparable degree with a focus on supply chain management
• Knowledge in the shipment of dangerous goods, IATA PK1 or PK2 certificate is desirable
• Knowledge in handling common customs procedures (Atlas)
• Proficient in the use of common MS Office programs (especially Excel), experience with SAP BusinessOne is an advantage
• Independent, conscientious and structured way of working distinguishes you even under deadline pressure
• Good communication skills in English and German
