Sales Specialist (f/m/d)

You will be responsible for selling PMA cable protection products and solutions within ABB Low Voltage Products in Germany, driving sales volumes and margins. You will use your experience and drive to build lasting customer relationships through outstanding service.
Your responsibilities
- You will work with marketing and other departments to create sales plans and proposals to ensure technical and financial accuracy
- You will work with the wider sales team to identify and develop new market opportunities
- You will use your knowledge of customer needs and ABB’s solutions to provide meaningful solutions to customers
- You will work with the marketing team to monitor customer and market trends in order to develop appropriate marketing activities
- Focus on building and maintaining long-term business relationships
- Ensure competitive advantage by developing and implementing customer-specific strategies
- Competent, reliable contact person for the defined customers (-segments)
- Representing the requirements of the customers (-segments) in one’s own company
Your background
- At least 5 years of professional experience in sales of industrial goods to customers in mechanical engineering, robotics and/or railway technology
- Knowledge of electrification products, railway technology, cable protection and the market for mechanical engineering and robotics
- Knowledge of plastic materials helpful but not a prerequisite
- Technician, master craftsman or completed degree
- German and English fluently
- Highly proficient in the use of MS Office, SAP and Salesforce.com
- Willingness to travel >50% of working hours – DE and partly Europe-wide (customer visits and events, seminar participation, internal events)
