For an automotive supplier, Connecting Experts are seeking a Production Manager. The position will be based in Germany.

Role Responsibilities:

  • To guarantee that client orders are executed on time, within budget, and with the highest possible quality, plan, oversee, and organise all production activities for the specific M+H plant
  • Throughout the whole production process, make sure the product meets the M+H technical and quality standards, rules, and goals, as well as the requirements of the customer
  • Oversee the Review Meeting Process at various production stages, manage a team of employees within the responsibility area, and hold meetings with the direct report
  • Ascertain that the Quality System Basics Process is carried out in accordance with M+H standards and client expectations
  • Plan and oversee the production budget for the assigned area, ensuring effective use of the available funds and accurate cost allocation
  • Manage the Total Productive Maintenance Process to make sure that process effectiveness helps the M+H business perform better
  • Ensure that the machine capabilities are planned and utilised optimally, and that the tools, equipment, and machines are maintained and technically reliable
  • Establish, implement, and oversee the production schedule and deadlines; carry out first-part inspection tests to detect alterations
  • Create and implement an organisational structure for the area under your control, plan and allocate resources internally and externally as needed, and regularly assess your tools and processes in light of potential future expansion
  • To guarantee that all quality criteria are met, plan, implement, and oversee the RPS/8D process
  • Examine the entire production performance by controlling the Overall Equipment Effectiveness
  • Actively collaborate with the other M+H departments and/or subsidiaries
  • Manage the safety of the machinery and plants, making sure that all safety standards are maintained and that environmental regulations are followed
  • Ensure that all relevant paperwork regarding the production processes and facilities is accessible and current
  • Establish methods for ongoing process optimization and improvement, guarantee increased efficiency through the REFA technique, offer suggestions and carry out projects to reduce cycle times and enhance product quality, implement MMS projects as well as Production Basics
  • Foster the direct reports’ growth while adhering to HR regulation
  • Identify, facilitate, and manage the personnel training needs and development plan. Ensure that the personnel is engaged in accordance with the production demands and that the employees are assigned to roles that fit their qualifications
  • Ensure that the assigned area is effectively manned, managed, and organised
  • Assure and preserve all records in accordance with ISO, TS, and EMS Standards
  • Conduct health management events/workshops and audits to ensure the workers’ safety and conducive working environment

Your Profile:

  • Degree in Engineering, or a relevant, related field (technical or business)
  • Minimum of five years of relevant work experience in the operations field
  • Thorough technical understanding of M+H products
  • Effective planning, organising, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Understanding of how to manage TS 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements
