What we’re offering is a chance to join our CAAS (Container As A Service) team, assisting our Senior Operations Manager in ensuring; The smooth running of day-to-day operational matters; The seamless execution of customer contracts; The focal point of communications between the customer and Aeler’s company entities (ACG and ATSA).

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in an operational capacity in a logistics company is preferred
  • Similar experience in the logistics department of a BCO is very welcome
  • A background in dealing with containers and depots would be an advantage although not a necessity
  • Possess an operational mindsetFluency in English is a must; Working knowledge of any other languages would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Fulfilling customer orders with the help of Aeler’s Fleet Management tool
  • Learning how to use Aeler’s Fleet Management tool
  • Assisting the Operations Manager in managing AELER’s global container fleet
  • Assisting the Operations Manager in planning and monitoring container stock availability vs future demand in order to:
  • Minimise empty container positioning costs
  • Prevent customer service failures due to unavailability of containers
  • Arranging container transport positioning (by land or sea) when absolutely necessaryAssisting in checking and approving container positioning transport costs
  • Providing continuous constructive feedback to the development team on how to improve the Fleet Management tool
  • Providing continuous feedback to the Product development team based on customer / depot feedback / observations of damages to containers
  • Assisting the Operations Manager in the vetting and appointment of depot operators
  • Occasional visits to depots may be required
  • Assisting the Operations Manager in monitoring and coordinating container damages / repairs / insurance reporting / recovery from customers, if required
  • Assisting in checking and approving depot invoices
  • Assisting Accounts department with information for customer invoicing
  • When required, providing Operational support to colleagues on projects or events
  • Document and share customer information on a continuous basis to ensure that ACG, Customer Success, and Marketing teams work smoothly thereby providing the customer with a level of service that is second to none.
