Tasks

  • Pro-active setup and maintenance of the Data Center Hardware and Network (installation and configuration)
  • Clarification of general requirements for the needed Hardware and Software
  • Development and implementation of a suitable data center infrastructure
  • Management/ support of the virtual infrastructure
  • Backup and monitoring of the data center
  • On-call service for the data center at the data enter location

Strengths

  • Completed vocational training as an IT administrator or network engineer or a degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable training#
  • Over 5 years of practical experience in data center maintenance operations (different operating systems) or similar environments
  • Working on data centers, storage, networks, firewall including tools is your passion
  • Experience in migration of data centers to IaaS cloud is preferable
  • Independent, solution-oriented and structured way of working as well as thinking in new technologies characterize you
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, German would be a plus
