Tasks
- Pro-active setup and maintenance of the Data Center Hardware and Network (installation and configuration)
- Clarification of general requirements for the needed Hardware and Software
- Development and implementation of a suitable data center infrastructure
- Management/ support of the virtual infrastructure
- Backup and monitoring of the data center
- On-call service for the data center at the data enter location
Strengths
- Completed vocational training as an IT administrator or network engineer or a degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable training#
- Over 5 years of practical experience in data center maintenance operations (different operating systems) or similar environments
- Working on data centers, storage, networks, firewall including tools is your passion
- Experience in migration of data centers to IaaS cloud is preferable
- Independent, solution-oriented and structured way of working as well as thinking in new technologies characterize you
- Fluent in written and spoken English, German would be a plus
